ODFeL — Open, Distance and Flexible e-Learning — is an innovative advent by this Award winning Institute to serve as an alternative route to studying a diploma course being offered. It is aimed at helping students access high-quality academic content and work through their studies at their own pace, with greater flexibility, and yet at lesser financial costs being incurred. The instructional mode provides the opportunity for working-class people to acquire knowledge, skills and techniques which may be relevant to their present work. The ODFeL scheme is a combination of both completely remote (online learning) and traditional offline classroom instruction with the examination mode also either physical or online as the Student so desires. The approval for ODFeL at the Ogun state Institute of Technology, Igbesa was issued on 12th August, 2020 in line with conforming with the global trend of digitalization. The scheme is to kickstart from the 2023/2024 academic session for Student application, entry and full operation.
